Be strong in your body…a powerful concept but what does it mean to you? Is it physical strength? Is it emotional strength? Is it something more? As a functional movement specialist and holistic lifestyle coach, I know ‘body strong’ is about one’s overall health and wellness picture. It’s not just about living a long life but living a life in the best possible condition you can - free of disease, pain and the dysfunctions of aging. That’s why I believe in shifting away from a life-span philosophy and focusing on a health span concept. The maintenance of a fully functional body - physically, mentally, emotionally - as close as possible to the end of life is the ultimate goal. This should be measured through progress not perfection!


At Evolve Fitness we understand the everyone’s definition of ‘strong’ is unique and everyone’s journey to improve their health span has a different starting point. That’s why we offer tailored services to suit everyone’s individual needs. We offer a wide range of services focusing on functional strength, balance, mobility, and nutrition in order to help achieve your personal goals.


Your body is unique and special so why not your workouts? General programs that you see scattered all over social media are generic and often won’t get you the results you’re looking for. With one-on-one personal training sessions we will build you a tailored program to fit you and your specific goals.


Do you feel like your body just isn’t moving right? Are there certain movements that cause you pain? Are you recovering from an injury? Most of these issues are caused by a muscle imbalance in the body and/or a faulty movement pattern. We can help you move like yourself again. Our Medical Exercise Specialist will conduct a comprehensive assessment and devise a plan to safely rebalance the body, improve your strength, mobility and movement patterns to help reduce the dysfunction in your body.


Strong bodies bend, strong bodies do not break! Mobility is the key to this concept. While you may be working on your flexibility, neglecting to release their myofascial. What is myofascia? Myofascia is where we hold muscular tension and is often the reason why our muscles won’t lengthen. When muscular tension builds up in the muscles and joints we develop trigger or pain points throughout the body. Myofascia release can improve the flexibility and mobility around the muscle or joint which will rebalance the body and reduce pain at the same time.


But your ‘body strong’ journey doesn’t stop when leave the studio! At Evolve Fitness we know that your mind is just as important as your physical body. We offer Holistic Lifestyle Coaching separately or to supplement any of our training programs.
